Capital of the Adventure Tours
Mendoza is the capital of the province and the largest in the west of Argentina. Located in the skirts of the Cordillera de los Andes, is an amazing oasis of culture through the Tunuyán and Mendoza rivers. Mendoza can be reached by air via Gabrielli Francisco International Airport - The Plumerillo, or by land through the National Route No. 7 and 40.
The urban raises a beautiful and spectacle of fairways flanked by leafy trees, plazas and parks through a network of 500 km of irrigation channels, which allows to implement an irrigation system throughout the city. A City with historic tradition, Mendoza keeps many memories of the epic sanmartiniana through the Cerro de la Gloria, El Plumerillo, Park San Martin and museums that contain documents of the passage from Argentine region
Starting point for adventure tourism and mountain sports such as mountaineering, skiing and river rafting, Mendoza offers multiple channels for the development of these activities, Walking by the five plazas, the Civic Center area and the founding area enough for visitors who appreciate the culture, history and idiosyncrasies of the local inhabitants.
For the surrounding areas of the Mendoza city can learn interesting sites and locations as the ruins of the Temple San Francisco, Maipu, El Challao, the baths of Villavicencio, Cacheuta, Potrerillos and Vallecitos.
