The Aconcagua Provincial Park is
restricted for visitors and they have special permits
to enter the Aconcagua Provincial Park it is necessary
to obtain a personal permit in (Subsecretaria
de Turismo), sited in 1143 rd San Martin Ave.,
Mendoza City.. By signing this permit follow these steeps
1. Fill out the registration form. Print it out together
with the bank deposit slip. 2. Pay in bank (addresses
in the form).
3. After making the payment, you will be able to obtain
the permits at the Visitors Center: The person releases
the Administration of Renewable Natural Resources (governmental
institution in charge of the administration of Aconcagua
Park) and the Government of Mendoza from all responsibility
for the accidents that could occur to the climber inside
the park and accepts the regulations in the Statute
of Use of the Park.

Office hours for issuing
permits are:
its opened from Monday to Friday from 8 am. to 6 pm.
Saturdays and Sundays and holidays from 9 am. to 1 pm.
Access to the Park is between 8 am to 6 pm. For any

Low age tourists about 14 years old can only enter the
Park up to Quebrada del Durazno 3100 masl. Young adults
between 14 and 21 years old can only enter with an authorization
from both parents, certified by their local authorities.
For foreign visitors the age limit is that from the
country of origin.

OTHER SEASONS
For climbing and Trekking out of the established season
according to the decree 50/2002 is to insist rates,
and Resolution 950/2000 where establishes admission
rules.
all Climbers and trekkers must submit before the administration
an affidavit where they assume all responsibility for
the risks of their expeditions, releasing from responsibility
the Administration of Renewable Resources, its authorities
and the Government of Mendoza. The climbers and trekkers
will be responsible for all the expenses incurred in
case of a rescue procedure and/or medical care that
might occurs during the expedition, Upon request, climbers
must submit a list of their specific technical equipment
for winter ascent, The Administration could also request
a security travel insurance policy or the necessary
guarantees in case of an eventual rescue or evacuation,
The climbers and trekkers must submit a resume of ascents
which prove that they have experience in winter ascents.
Anyway the authorization is the prerogative of the competent
institutions who are not obliged to accept the request.
